The Driver Impairment Index (DII) and Driver Impairment Index - Dr (DII-Dr) are DUI violator screening instruments or tests. They were designed specifically for California DUI client screening. Reports incorporate two information gathering systems: California's DUI system (number of DUI's, chemical test levels and court enhancements) and the DII's alcohol and drug use or abuse severity measurement system, or the DII-Dr's Alcohol, Drugs and Driver Risk Scales.
The DII is a DUI violator assessment instrument or test. The DII was designed for California DUI violator screening. DII Reports incorporate two information gathering systems: California's DUI system (number of DUI's, chemical test levels (or refusals) and court enhancements) and the DII Alcohol and Drugs Scales. The DII consists of 64 items or questions and takes an average nine or ten minutes to complete. DII's are scored over the Internet with two page DII reports printed within two minutes. The DII-Dr consists of 74 questions, takes 15 minutes to complete and prints a three-page report.
